Entering the 10,000-square-meter park that hosts the Savoia Regency and the Savoia Country House never fails to impress. Historic elegance blends harmoniously with country-chic style—a perfect balance between timeless tradition and creative innovation, reflected in the cuisine of Ristorante Garganelli, a culinary landmark that has delighted generations of Bolognese locals and international visitors since 1956. Originally located in Via Santo Stefano and, since 2007, strategically positioned near the Bologna ring road and Bologna Fiere, the complex offers 140 rooms, a garden area with pool, modern comforts, and fully equipped conference halls—making it a benchmark in the international meeting and event industry.

Ristorante Garganelli stands out for its consistent quality and readiness to serve guests throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner. Its menu combines traditional local recipes with contemporary creations (including gluten-free options), with a special focus on seafood and fine patisserie, the latter inspired by pastry master Ermes Trombetti. Signature dishes include beef tartare with pallotte cacio e ova, fennel, citrus mayonnaise, and guacamole; “Savoia” garganelli with scampi and clam ragù; tortellacci stuffed with stracciatella and truffle in foaming butter with poppy seeds; citrus-crusted cod fillet; scaloppina alla petroniana; and the “Garganelli” molten chocolate cake with cinnamon fiordilatte ice cream and wine-poached pears (prepared in 14 minutes). The restaurant also boasts an impressive cellar with 200 wine labels and attentive, well-coordinated service.
