The wine shop on Via Marsala has been recognized as one of the best in the world, with accolades including the Oscar for Best Wine Shop in Italy in 2002, a podium finish for Best Sommelier in 2005, and the Leccio d’Oro award from the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium in 2020. Marco Nannetti and Claudio Cavallari, with over thirty years of expertise, have made this wine shop a point of pride for the city. They were pioneers in introducing wine by the glass and, since 1994, have created a wine bar area and a beautiful tasting room, hosting events with top producers, vertical tastings, and gastronomic experiences, including the sensational artisan panettoni during the Christmas season.

The shop boasts an extensive and well-organized wine collection, categorized by region and type, as well as a refined selection of spirits and liqueurs. It also offers a range of gourmet food products, including preserves, canned goods, pickled items, and delicacies. Every evening, except Sundays, the shop brings the essence of Bologna to life, offering a convivial and jovial atmosphere around tables filled with delicious cured meats like heart-shaped prosciutto, coppa di testa, dried sausage, and selections from Antichi Sapori del Gran Sasso Flli De Paulis and Salumificio San Paolo of Parma. The knife-sliced mortadella is from Franceschini. There’s a variety of blue-veined cheeses and raw milk cheeses from Guffanti, as well as exquisite smoked carpaccio and other delights, all paired with the finest wines from both Italy and abroad, chosen for their perfect vintages.
