Osteria Colle Ameno

Within the historic village of Colle Ameno lies one of the city’s top burger spots. Entrepreneur Riccardo Molinari Pradelli has reimagined the pub format through the lens of a traditional osteria, focusing on exceptional quality and local sourcing. The setting is steeped in 18th-century Enlightenment ideals, originally envisioned by Marchese Filippo Carlo Ghisilieri as a hub of science, craftsmanship, and autonomy. Revitalized in the 1990s by the municipality of Sasso Marconi, the village now hosts the Osteria Colle Ameno, a central destination for culture and cuisine. Guests can dine outdoors in the warmer months, enjoying refined starters and gourmet burgers created by chef Giacomo Galeazzi, who also oversees the kitchen at the Badolo Osteria. Every ingredient—from meats by Macelleria Sernesi to cheeses, vegetables, handmade buns, and desserts—is carefully sourced from local artisans. The drink selection includes craft beers curated with Lab and Cà del Brado, niche liqueurs, and regional natural wines. In winter, the ambiance becomes warm and rustic, with chalet-style décor and cozy details like signature teddy bears.
