www.ruggine.bo.itTen years after opening, Ricky, Davo, Don, and Jack have never stopped evolving while keeping the warm and authentic atmosphere of their early days intact. They later launched Ragù on Via Goito—named Best Street Food by Gambero Rosso—and Ragù & Drafts in the revitalized Piazza Aldrovandi, pairing refreshing craft drinks on tap with their highly popular ragù sandwiches, inspired by traditional home recipes and served in buns crafted in their own lab.
They were pioneers of the bistrot autoctono in Bologna, using reclaimed materials and furnishings to create a pub that feels both popular and refined, with a strong focus on beer selection and innovative mixology. This commitment continues today, thanks to Samu Bernardi’s expertise behind the bar and Fabio Tammariello’s lively energy.
Artisanal and seasonal ingredients have become their trademark: shrubs and syrups are made in-house to add a fresh, earthy, and sometimes health-conscious twist to a drink list that remains dynamic, playful, and satirical in its design. Their calling card? The Breaking Moscow, an iconic signature cocktail for regulars, alongside the Rifugio, a new take on the Americano enriched with a wine-forward element. Beyond these easy-drinking options, you’ll find intriguing contrasts in the Azdora or the Tachipirina 500, a clever reinterpretation of the Penicillin cocktail.
Open for lunch as well, the kitchen serves both healthy dishes and traditional comfort food made fresh to order.
